Permissions Post || Entranceway
Alrighty! So here's the permissions post for my boy Loki. If you respond, feel absolutely free to link to your own permissions post as well and I will do my level best to get on that shit in a timely manner.
In the mean time, in no particular order, the main event:
1. Loki is capable of projecting illusory duplicates of himself/others/whatever. These duplicates are visually indistinguishable from the real thing, but they have no form or substance. Upon touching they flicker and/or disappear. However, characters who are capable of sensing magic or who are otherwise supernaturally observant (i.e., telepathic) might notice them to be illusions. Would your character be able to see them as false?
2. He's also capable of transmitting thoughts/sensations/memories between people upon contact with that person's skin. This he can do most easily with Asgardians and other humans, so any nonhuman characters would be difficult at best. However, humans with some magical or telepathic ability may cause interference. Would your character fall under these categories? How would you like me to deal with their species/abilities?
3. I've never actually used this one before, but I guess I'll include it. Loki can shapeshift. It takes a great deal of energy to shift out of any of his usual three forms, and even between the two it isn't easy, but he is theoretically capable of taking on the form of anybody he's seen before and memorized. If you'd like this ever to occur, please let me know. If you don't want it to occur at all, say so here. Either way I'd definitely ask before trying this, and as I said I've never done it before, but the option is there.
4. He can sense magic, especially magic which involves the manipulation of energy of some form. Similarly, he can sense telepathic intrusion and will generally attempt to resist it, though the extent to which he can do so depends upon the telepath in question. Finally, if he concentrates, he can get a vague sense of nerve patterns and underlying anatomy, which might highlight certain characters as nonhumans. Is there anything about your character he might be able to sense?
5. General permissions. Can he or can he not be a meaniebutt mcdumbface? No, I really don't know what else to put here; I'm not good at these. Still if you'd rather I avoid certain kinds of behaviour (if they trigger you, for instance), please do let me know. I'm happy to accommodate, truly. I know how shitty being set off can be. I've had to quit games because of it in the past and I do not want that to happen to anyone else.
In general, I will absolutely ask before performing any actions which might significantly affect your character. Might be playing a god, but I'm not interested in godmodding. In general, this is y'all's show.
And as always, if anyone has any requests at all re:plot things or whatever, do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks!

For John Blake
2. Again, John's just a human. With no special abilities, just
Battoys. Transmit away!3. Totally up for shapeshifting shenanigans if it comes to it!
4. No magical senses here. Just a human, yo.
5. Please, I encourage all the meaniebutt mcdumbfacing! Anything goes. o/
For Aerith & Meg
1) Meg probably would in some sense - they'll probably just feel off to her and she wouldn't automatically assume ILLUSION but she'll know something weird is going on. Aerith might sense a strange aura about one of the duplicates but won't go poking at it or anything to see if it is one. She's not familiar with such things.
2) Meg might, if only because she is a demon. That doesn't mean he can't transmit thoughts/sensations to her, it just means she might catch on pretty quick. Not immediately, but quick enough. Aerith's magic is mostly focused around healing and buffing party members, so he would probably have no issue with transmitting - maybe something akin to magical static when he tries but it works anyway. If that makes sense.
3)I am all about shapeshifting, do ittt.
4)For Meg he could probably sense the fact the body she's in isn't hers - she's limited in her supernatural abilities atm so there isn't much to really sense about her. Aerith, though, has lots of magic type stuff flowing through her body so he can probably pick up on her healing abilities, the fact that she's half human and stuff like that.
5) I absolutely encourage any meaniebutt behavior to either girl. Especially Meg. She needs it :|

1. Very unlikely. If it's possible at all I imagine it would take a lot of practice in regards to that specific scenario, so unless Philip had an IC reason for that I can't see it happening.
2. Yes, but I believe Philip would still be sufficiently similar to a human to do little to interfere with Loki's abilities. If you're interested in playing the distinction you could have it require slightly more concentration or have his first attempt fail, but there are no astonishing barriers or skills to hold Loki back.
3. The more the merrier.
4. Possibly! Again, here is what Philip can do, which is a lot of unused potential boiling down to "He could speak to Loki telepathically". Should he ever try that Loki can definitely block him at his leisure, Philip is nowhere near a level that could break through that.
Plus if Loki concentrates he might sense that Philip's... I imagine it would be his nerve patterns and brain chemistry are slightly off for a human, but sadly I wouldn't quite know how else to describe it. I guess it might be similar to seeing somebody you know some distance away and not being entirely sure if it's them, because on the one hand those are definitely their shoes but wait, why the hell does their hair look so long?1
5. Meaniebutt mcdumbface permission granted!

2. He can definitely do that, go fill in mine so I can edit this with more tl;dr though
3. You can have River's form any time baby~
4. YEP GO GO FOR IT psychic bb here
5. Hah why do I even fill these out for you ever of course 100%
For Greedling
1. Greed would not directly spot a duplicate, but Ling would probably know right away exactly which one was real. Whether he would actually communicate this information to Greed in a timely fashion depends on the circumstances.
2. Although technically he's not human, Greed's "body structure and compositional elements" are totally identical, so this should work just fine. The Ultimate Shield would probably block it, though, if he's using it at the time.
3. Absolutely! Do eeeeeet!
4. Greed is sharing a body with someone else. He's also filled to the brim with energy, in the form of a Philosopher's Stone, although he lacks the ability to consciously use it in all the ways it could be used. None of this is hidden in any way.
5. Be as mean as you like to him! I can't think of any particular sore spots for me.

1. As long as he's not completely fallen, Castiel would be able to sense they're fake
2. Castiel isn't human (yet), and angels are canonically resistant to mind-control except from their own kind, so while it might be possible for Loki to get a foot in there given Cas' weakening state, it would still be incredibly difficult until Castiel falls further from Grace.
3. If it ever becomes something we can plot with, we can talk about it, but I'd prefer it to be something we hashed out together :)
4. Castiel is, essentially, made of energy and light, but inside a human body. I imagine Loki would be able to sense that easily enough, and he'd prolly also detect that Castiel's Grace is weakening/shrinking every day as he falls and becomes more human. Castiel can also read minds - with a normal human it doesn't take more than looking into their eyes to gather their name and their most defining thoughts, for example, and he can easily probe deeper. I'd guess that he'd not be able to poke into Loki's mind at all, though ;)
5. I can't think of anything that would really put me off at this point. Anything too invasive, I would ask that we discuss before it goes down, but I can't think of anything right off the bat.
For Ruby
1. As a werewolf, Ruby has improved senses of hearing and smell even in human form. If she's hard-pressed for time, she'd totally fall for the visual trick, but if she has time, she might be able to smell something's up? I'd go for her falling for it in most cases, though since the lack of smell would probably register too late.
2. Ruby is a werewolf - that means for all intents and purposes, a regular human in this case.
3. See above - if we plot about it beforehand, sure :3
4. He could probably tell Ruby is not just human. There is a beast slumbering inside of her, and since it's been repressed for 28 years, when it comes out, things will get really ugly, and Ruby won't be able to remain lucid.
5. Same as above!

2. He has no resistance to this.
3. I don't mind! Sounds fun.
4. His soul is forty years older than his body and has been to hell. He's also an angelic vessel.
5. Yes forever.
